Media projects Obama's victory as 44th U.S. president

WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 (Yonhap) -- Major U.S. media organizations Tuesday projected
Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama as the first black president of the
United States in history with victories in major battleground states.
CNN projected that Sen. Obama will be the 44th President of the United States.
Fox News said that Illinois Sen. Obama "swept to historic victory to become
America's first black president."
The Associated Press reported that "Obama has been elected president of the
United States, the first African-American elevated to the White House," saying
McCain's campaign officials said that
McCain called Obama to concede.
