As a result of enormous efforts and prompt actions of paleontologists and government authorities of two countries Bataar 2,4 meter in height and 7,2 meter in length recently returned to its home country. Though it is gigantic in size, its fore-limbs are too short. This dinosaur’s skull, vertebrae, back-legs were found completely, in other word, 70 percent of Tyrannosaurus’s skeleton are full. Thus, it is considered as unique fossil.
uyan_mn: This kind of dinosaurs is unearthed only in Mongolia. As researchers guessed, Tyrannosaurus Bataar is younger in terms of morphology and body size. Also, it said, leg bone of Bataar is very interesting and it may contain some additional information useful for the palenthological studies.
Besides Tyrannosaurus Bataar, other dinosaur skeletons bigger than it excavated from Mongolian soil and imported to the USA through the illegal commerce network were relieved there and all of them will be returned to Mongolia soon. Today, the temporary Museum for dinosaurs is created on the central square of the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. Tyrannosaurus Bataar is displaced there for the public demonstration.
