Kim Yu-na leads in her quest for Grand Prix series title
BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korean Kim Yu-na finished first in the short program at the Cup of China in Beijing on Thursday, grabbing a lead in the race for this season's third Grand Prix series title.
Kim, 18, scored 63.64 points, while Miki Ando of Japan took 59.30 and Finnish
skater Laura Lepisto trailed behind with 58.60.
Kim won the Cup of China event last year and seeks to win a ticket to the Grand
Prix Final scheduled for next month in her country.
