Lebak District Government Eases Investors To Invest

Lebak, Banten Province, June 11 (Antara) - Lebak district government in Banten Province eases the license for both domestic and foreign investors to invest in the district, an official has said. "We will not make the licensing process for both domestic and foreign investors complicated," local Capital Investment Board and Integrated Permit Service spokesman Agianto Ahmad Tahir said in Rangkasbitung on Tuesday. According to him, many investors from Jakarta at present are eying the Maja area to develop their business in property. He said the Ministry of Public Housing plans to make Maja area a satellite town to accommodate the people from Jakarta where the population is getting more crowded. "The development of Jakarta settlement area will be diverted to the west, namely to Maja subdistict because it has wider area," he said. According to him, Maja subdistrict is free from flood, landslide, tectonic earthquake and tsunami so the Lebak district government would facilitate the investors to invest in the area.
