Korean man found dead in Cambodian hotel after gambling away fortune
SEOUL, Nov. 7 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean man was found dead in a Cambodian hotel in what appeared to be a suicide driven by gambling debt, Cambodian reports said Friday.
Police found the man, identified only by his surname Chae, hanged in a hotel room
in Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital, on Thursday, they said.
He left a suicide note to his family saying he gambled away his fortune. The
man's body was taken to the city's Calmette Hospital, they said.
Phnom Penh is Cambodia's most populous city and home to many casino resorts for
tourists.
