Speaker: Azerbaijani people to make right decision in presidential elections

Azerbaijan, Baku, September 30/ Trend M. Aliyev / In the upcoming presidential elections Azerbaijani people will make right decision, the chairman of the Milli Mejlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan Oktay Asadov said during the first meeting of the autumn session of the country's legislature on Monday. According to him, the autumn session of the Parliament coincides with such a significant event for the country as the presidential elections. "The Azerbaijani people are very wise, and I'm sure they will have a say in the name of their future, and will choose their president," Asadov said. Presidential elections in Azerbaijan will be held October 9. Previous presidential elections were held on October 15, 2008. The presidential elections in Azerbaijan are held every five years.
