OSCE observation mission for presidential elections arrives in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, October 7/Trend, S.Ahmadova/ The mission of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) which was sent to observe the upcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan has arrived in Baku, OSCE/ODIHR told Trend on Monday. According to the organization, the observation mission consists of 280 people. Currently, the process of distribution of observers in different regions is going on, and they will become familiar with the polling stations on October 8. Presidential elections in Azerbaijan will be held on October 9. Previous presidential elections were held on October 15, 2008. The presidential elections in Azerbaijan are held every five years.
