Putin, Saudi king discuss Iran

TEHRAN,Nov.12(MNA)--Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation on Sunday with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, the Voice of Russia said, citing a report by the Kremlin’s press service. The Russia-initiated talk focused on ways of settling the conflict in Syria and the situation around Iran’s nuclear program. Both leaders “expressed mutual desire to continue cooperation and maintain contacts at various levels on important international issues,” the report said.
