S. Korea`s population mobility grows in Q3

SEOUL, Nov. 19 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's population mobility grew 3.6 percent on-year in the third quarter earlier on an increased supply of new and redeveloped houses, a government report showed Wednesday.

A total of 2 million South Koreans changed their legal residence during the
July-September quarter, up 69,000 from the same period a year before, according
to the report by the National Statistical Office.
The net population inflow to most populated Seoul and its adjacent region,
totaled 7,000 in the third quarter, down from 13,000 a year earlier, the report
showed.
People in their 20s and 30s had the highest mobility with 43.9 percent of them
changing their residence, down from 45.1 percent a year earlier, according to the
report.
