Indonesian Military Officer Shot Dead By Separatists

Jakarta, Jan 24 (Antara) - An Indonesian military officer was shot dead in an ambush by separatists in Mulia, Papua Province, on Friday at 10.50 a.m. local time. The incident took place when the officer was heading toward the earlier shoot-out scene between members of the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) and armed separatists, in Mulia, Papua Province. An armed separatist was killed in the earlier shoot-out between TNI members and separatists in Mulia, at 7.30 a.m. local time.
