Deficit Of Rp5.3 Trillion Recorded In Budget For January
Jakarta, Feb 13 (Antara) - The directorate general of state treasury recorded a deficit of Rp5.3 trillion in the implementation of state budget by January 30, 2014.
The deficit was 3.1 percent of the state budget target of Rp175.3 trillion, data at the directorate general office said.
Data at the directorate general showed that income and grants totaled Rp91.4 trillion or 5.5 percent of the target of Rp1,667.1 trillion as against spending of Rp96.8 trillion or 5.3 percent of the ceiling of Rp1,842.4 trillion.
Tax revenues accounted for Rp83.78 trillion of the income and grants or 6.5 percent of the budget target of Rp1,280.38 trillion and non tax state revenues of Rp7.6 trillion or 2 percent of the target of Rp385.3 trillion.
The tax revenues includes customs revenue totaling Rp12.25 trillion and natural resource revenues totaling Rp3.1 trillion or 1.4 percent of the target of Rp225.9 trillion .
Income tax revenues totaled Rp38.9 trillion and value added tax totaling Rp31.5 trillion and land and building taxes totaling Rp656.2 billion , excises Rp8.5 trillion, import duties Rp2.3 trillion and export tax Rp1.4 trillion.
State spending included central government spending totaling Rp40.1 trillion or 3.2 percent of the ceiling of Rp1,249.9 trillion and transfers to the regions totaling Rp56.7 trillion or 9.6 percent of the ceiling of Rp592.5 trillion.
Spending for civil servant totaled Rp20.6 trillion or 7.8 percent of the ceiling of Rp263.9 trillion , spending on goods Rp495.2 billion or 0.2 percent of the ceiling of Rp201.8 trillion and capital spending totaled Rp194.2 billion or 0.1 percent of the ceiling of Rp232.8 trillion.
