Technician Falls From 22 Story Apartment Block

Jakarta, Feb 18 (Antara) - A technician is reported to have died after falling from a room on the 22nd floor of Apartment Mansion in Tebet, South Jakarta when he was caught in a romantic embrace with the apartment`s maid. The local Police Chief Police Commissioner I Ketut Sudarma stated here on Tuesday that the 26 year old technician, named Sonny Muslim, fell from the apartment after being caught red handed in a romantic embrace with the apartment`s maid, Nur Azizah. Ketut added that the incident occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at around 1.00 p.m., when the victim visited the apartment to meet the maid, Nur. "At 1:33 p.m., the employer`s friends walked in and spotted the couple in a romantic embrace in the room," Ketut affirmed. Meanwhile, South Jakarta Metro Police spokesperson Police Commissioner Aswin stated that the maid and her technician lover apologized immediately after being caught by the room owner`s friends. However, the technician did not go out from the apartment`s door, but instead, he fled the room from the balcony in a state of panic. "Sonny tried to crawl down the apartment`s wall when he fell to the ground and died instantly," Aswin explained. The police are now questioning three witnesses in the case. The case is still under investigation by the Criminal Police Members of Tebet police precinct. Aswin added that the victim suffered severe injuries on his head and a few broken legs. After the identification process was completed, Sonny`s body was immediately taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.
