Four Japanese Tourists Check Out Of Hospital

Denpasar, Bali, Feb 20 (Antara) - Four Japanese tourists who were previously admitted to a hospital after a diving incident in Nusa Lembongan water, Klungkung District, Bali, were allowed to check out the hospital on Thursday. "The medical team said their conditions had been stable and good so that they were allowed to go home," Medical Service Director of Denpasar`s Sanglah Hospital, Anak Agung Ngurah Jayakusuma, said here on Thursday. He said that the four Japanese tourists only felt pain in several parts of their skins due to sun burns after floating for three days in the sea. "The four victims suffered from grade one sun burns and some blisters due to rock scratches," he said. Anak Agung noted that their mental conditions were also good so that they can leave the hospital after a four-day medical treatment. The four Japanese tourists were Yamamoto Emi (33), Tomita Nahomi (29), Morizono Aya (27), Yoshidome Atshumi (29). On Friday, February 14, seven Japanese tourists were reported missing while diving in the Nusa Lembongan waters, Klungkung district, Bali province. They were Niata (59), Yamamoto (33), Tomita Nahomi (28), Muri Sono Aya (27), Yosidome Atsumi (29), Takahasioko (35) and tourist guide Hurukawa Sahori (37). On Wednesday, the Sanglah Central Hospital stated that the health of the four Japanese nationals who drowned in Lembongan waters of Nusa Penida is stable. "The four victims who are being treated in Denpasar`s Sanglah Hospital are normal and are ready to return to their homes," stated Director of Medical Service in Sanglah Hospital Anak Agung N Jayakusuma. Now, six of the seven Japanese tourists have reportedly survived after going amiss while diving around the Jungut Batu Mangrove Forest in the Nusa Lembongan Sea on Friday.
