-TURKISH, JORDANIAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKERS SIGN COOPERATION PROTOCOL
AMMAN (A.A) - 24.11.2008 - Turkish and Jordanian parliament speakers signed on Monday a protocol to improve relations and cooperation.
Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan and Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives Abdel Hadi Majali signed the protocol after their meeting in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Speaking at the meeting Majali said Turkey and Jordan shared a common vision on a great number of regional and international issues, adding that major steps had been taken to improve trade relations between the two countries.
Toptan said on his part Turkey and Jordan had similar views concerning Iraq and Palestine, adding that both countries had been exerting efforts to reach settlement on the two issues.
