MONGOLIA AND CAMBODIA ESTABLISH BILATERAL CONSULTATIONS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia and Cambodia have established a Memorandum of Understanding /MoU/ on the creation of bilateral consultations with aims at bolstering bilateral ties and cooperation, reported on ShanghaiDaily.com, May 2.
Same day, the deal was inked by Mr Long Visalo, Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by D.Gankhuyag, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
After the ceremony, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr Koy Kuong said that the MoU is very important to pave the way for the two countries to increase cooperation in bilateral, regional and international frameworks. Under the deal, both sides also can exchange information and opinions on bilateral, regional and international issues.
He added more, it was the second document after the two countries signed an agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic and official passport holders in 2012.
Both sides also agreed to strengthen cooperation in economics, trade, investment and tourism spheres.
Mongolia and Cambodia established diplomatic relations in November 30, 1960.
