Vespa adventure to promote Vietnam

Hanoi, May 27 (VNA) – Ten members of the Hanoi Vespa Club will ride their scooters over 4,000km across four European countries, explaining the beauty of Vietnam’s land and people to the people they meet along the way. Their journey will go from Italy to France, Germany and Switzerland. After that, the riders will return to the first destination to attend the Vespa World Days event in mid-June. The Hanoi Vespa Club gathers nearly 200 aficionados of Vespas and other scooter models in Vietnam’s capital city. They have gone on many long journeys across Vietnam and regional countries. In 2012, nine club members rode their vehicles for 4,000km through Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.-VNA
