INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION INDEX RISES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This May, the industrial production index (2010=100 seasonally adjusted and experimental estimation) increased 13.3% from the same period of the previous year, 18.7% over the previous month, and 23.2% compared with the end of the last year. The mining of products such as goal, crude oil and copper with concentrate increased 1.6%-88.5% in the mining and quarrying sectors, while the production of products such as bakery products, milk, buuz and dumpling, pure water, wooden door and windows, flour, macaroni noodles, vacuum windows and doors, and sawn wood rose 3.0% to 2.5 times in the manufacturing sector compared with the same period of the previous year.
