CPO Price Up In Jambi

Jambi, July 4 (Antara) - The official price of crude palm oil in Jambi has been set at Rp8,505 per kilogram for July 4 -10 or an increase of Rp199 per kg from the previous week. "The prices were set by a price formula team of the plantation office based on a decision of a meeting also attended by officials of local oil plantation companies or factories," an official of the plantation office Putri Rainun said here on Friday. The provincial plantation office set higher prices of CPO and fresh fruit bunches (FFB), but the price of palm kernel (PK) was lower. The price of FFB of oil palm trees from 3 to more than 25 years in age rose Rp29 per kg . The price of FFB from 3 years old trees rose from Rp1,491 to Rp1,520 per kg /kg, and the price of FFB from treee older than 25 years was set at 7 years old tree was set at Rp1,799 per kg. The highest FFB price was for one from 20 years old tree at RP1,941 per kg. The price of PK fell from Rp5,848 per kg to Rp5,785 per kg.
