Nissan Unions Concerned about French Intervention in Renault

In a joint statement, the unions, including the Federation of All Nissan and General Workers' Unions, said that they are strongly concerned about the French government's plan to double its voting rights in Renault next spring. The French government's attempt is unacceptable, the statement said, adding that the move would destabilize the Nissan-Renault alliance.
