Saudi tanker is freed, says minister of petroleum
Riyadh, Jan 10, SPA -- Minister of petroleum and mineral resources
Eng. Ali al-Naimi said the Saudi tanker: Sirius Star" was released
today.
The tanker is owned by Vela International Marine Lt., an affiliate of
Saudi Aramco.
The available information assures that the members of the tanker's
crew are in a good health, said the minister.
The tanker is now sailing off the Somalian territorial waters.
