Governor of Jeddah inaugurates World Orthopedics Conference

Jeddah, January 11, SPA--Prince Misha'al bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the
Governor of Jeddah, inaugurated here on Saturday evening the 2nd
World Orthopedics Conference organized by King Abdulaziz University.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Prince Faisal bin Abdullah
bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority and Honorary
President of Saudi Orthopedic Society.
In his speech, Dr. Mohammad Jalal Al-Sayyad, the President of the
Conference and Associate Professor of Orthopedics, Joints and Spine
at the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University pointed out
that more than 50 researchers from the Kingdom and abroad are
participating in the conference as well as more than 150 working
papers and scientific researches in the field of orthopedics will be
submitted.
Dr. Al-Sayyad added that for the first time, the latest device to
prolong the bones all over the world will be introduced, indicating
that King Abdulaziz University has the right to use this device in
the Middle East.
