First Middle East Educational Conference on Tissue Typing laboratories developments convenes

Riyadh, January 11, SPA -- The session of the First Middle East
Conference on tissue typing laboratories development was convened
here today and hosted by King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for
Health Sciences' King Abdullah International Medical Research Center
in cooperation with European Genetic Immunity.

The conference, the first of its kind in this region, aims at
discussion of various topics in clinical tissue typing laboratories
as well as discussion on the latest available information on the
tissue typing and its role in organ and blood stem cells transplants.

The conference program includes many other issues
including the quality and efficiency of the tissue typing and
umbilical cord blood bank, records of non-relatives donors in
addition to addressing of the immunity problem resulting from
surgical transplantation.
