Al Maktoum Foundation begins distribution of 20,000 food parcels in Egypt

CAIRO, 31st May 2016 (WAM) -- The Al Maktoum Foundation is beginning implementation of a charitable project in the governorates of Egypt this week involving the distribution of 20,000 food baskets. The move follows the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, and the first phase will be launched in Sohag and Assiut. Mirza Al Sayegh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, said that the distribution of the food parcels follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Patron of the Al-Maktoum Foundation, to distribute aid in remote areas of governorates in Upper Egypt. - Emirates News Agency, WAM - http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates-international-aid/1395296105485.html
