Sharjah Charity Association implements Iftar Project at cost of AED1.8 million globally

SHARJAH, 14th June, 2016 (WAM) – Mohammed Hamdan Al Zari, Head of the Project Department at the Sharjah Charity Association (SCA), confirmed that the association has begun the implementation of its charitable project outside the country. The project is a part of the SCA's Ramadan campaign "Donate" to more than 64 countries across the globe. Al Zari said that the association provided the aid in co-operation and co-ordination with all UAE embassies across the world. The SCA has begun the implementation of the Iftar Project through the distribution of 300,000 Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan. He added that the association has earmarked AED 1.8 million to carry out the project in co-ordination with the UAE’s embassies, SCA's offices, and other associations accredited to the SCA.
