The UAE National Media Council launches initiative for children with thalassemia, cancer

ABU DHABI, 5th July 2016 (WAM) --- The National Media Council (NMC) on Sunday launched an initiative to offer gifts to children with thalassemia and cancer on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. The initiative, called "An Eid Gift and a Bonus", is aimed at easing the suffering of the little patients and encouraging them to keep strong and fight the disease. Sheikhs, dignitaries and officials visited the children at hospitals in the seven emirates. Among those Sheikh Khalifa bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan; Sheikh Juma bin Maktoum Al Maktoum; Hamad bin Ghalita, Special Secretary of Ajman Ruler and FNC Member; Saleh Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Director of the NMC office in Ras Al Khaimah; Salim Al Nar, FNC Member, media people and social media influencers.
