Japan, Iran to Hold Talks on Transportation Infrastructure

Tokyo, July 20 (Jiji Press)--Japan and Iran will hold vice minister-level talks in Tokyo Thursday on cooperation in transportation infrastructure development, the Japanese transport ministry said Wednesday. The ministry's first vice minister-level meeting with the Middle East country will be attended by Japanese vice minister Hiroshi Tabata and Asghar Fakhrieh Kashan, acting minister at Iran's Ministry of Roads and Urban Development. The two sides will share information and exchange opinions mainly on railways, ports and aviation infrastructure. Japan aims to export infrastructure systems to Iran as economic sanctions on the country have been lifted. END
