NBOS Also For Youth - Malaysian Deputy PM

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia), Aug 18 (Bernama) -- The National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) initiative developed by the Malaysian government also takes into account the suitability of the youth's needs and tastes, said Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Ahmad Zahid, who is also Home Minister, said there are 90 products under the NBOS that can be utilised by the people, including those that are only suitable for the youth. He cited youth NBOS initiatives, among them, the Youth Urban Project and voluntary activities platform through the 1Malaysia for Youth (iM4U). "The government understands the pulse of the young generation and because of that various appropriate facilities have been provided according to the needs of this group," he said when met by the media after visiting the NBOS exhibition here today. Earlier he closed the inaugural International Conference On Blue Ocean Strategy (ICBOS) and in his speech urged young leaders to continue innovation efforts to achieve the goal of turning Malaysia into a developed nation. The ICBOS is held in conjunction with the NBOS International Week 2016 from Aug 14 to 20 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) here.
