National Children's Paduk Contest Held

Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- The 5th National Children's Paduk Contest was held in the Holy Taekwon-Do Hall from August 10 to 17. It brought together more than 200 children selected from across the country. It was divided into Group A (first and second year classes of primary schools) and Group B (up to high classes of kindergartens). They competed in boys and girls individual and team events. Children in South Hwanghae Province came first in the boys team event of Group A and those in South Phyongan Province in the girls team event of Group A. Children in Pyongyang City placed first in boys and girls team events and mixed doubles events of Group B respectively. -0-
