Production Goes up at Sunchon Cement Complex of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- The Sunchon Cement Complex, a leading cement producer of the DPRK, has striven to turn out more cement badly needed for the recovery efforts in the flood-hit areas of North Hamgyong Province. A kiln repair was carried out far ahead of schedule at the calcinating shop to raise the clinker production. The complex is now over-fulfilling its daily quota by 20 percent by operating equipment at full capacity. Thanks to the devoted effort of its employees, a great deal of cement has been rapidly supplied to the disaster areas. -0-
