UAE Ambassador inspects school in Mozambique

DUBAI, 5th October, 2016 (WAM) -- Ambassador of the UAE to Mozambique Asem Merza Al Rahma, recently visited the Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum School in Chibuto, a district of Gaza Province to inspect the academic, administrative activities and its social role. He was received by Mozambican officials and the director of the Al Maktoum Foundation, the UAE charity which built the school. In a speech, the ambassador praised the foundation and Sheikh Hamdan for promoting education in Africa. He also thanked the Mozambican government and officials of Gaza Province for facilitating these educational projects. A large number of Mozambicans have graduated from the school which opened in 2001 as part of the Emirati foundation's initiatives.
