ERC distributes school items in Al Mukalla

AL MUKALLA, 6th October, 2016 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) yesterday distributed various items used by students in Al Mukalla, which coincides with the beginning of the new academic year. The gesture is part of the ERC's efforts to provide infrastructure for educational projects. The project is also part of an intensive effort that includes the distribution of a variety of items such as wall charts, tables and desks to a number of students in various schools in Hadramaut coast. In a ceremony attended by Director-General of Al Mukalla Directorate Abdul Baqi Al Huthari, other Yemeni officials and the ERC supervisor, 1,000 school items were distributed as part of the UAE's humanitarian role represented by ERC to alleviate the suffering of the population in Hadramaut.
