DPRK Paddler Listed as Candidate for ITTF Woman Table Tennis Star Awardee for 2016

Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, ITTF announced the list of men and women candidates for its table tennis star awardees for this year. According to it, Kim Song I, a woman paddler of the DPRK, was nominated as a candidate. Kim won a bronze medal at the 31st Olympic Games in August. She bagged gold medals in the women's single of the 2012 ITTF Euro-Africa Circuit, Swedish Open and in the senior women's single and double of the 2016 ITTF World Tour Pyongyang Open. -0-
