SK Telecom to spend 262.4 bln won on facilities in H1
SEOUL, Jan. 28 (Yonhap) -- SK Telecom Co., South Korea's leading mobile carrier, said Wednesday it will invest 262.4 billion won (US$191.7 million) in improving facilities in the first half of this year.
The money will be used for improving the quality of its mobile service and
expanding network capacity, the company said in a regulatory filing.
As of the end of December, SK Telecom had a 50.5 percent market share, or 23
million users. Nine out of 10 people in South Korea own a mobile phone.
