TV roundtable to feature president, experts and netizens
SEOUL, Jan. 28 (Yonhap) -- President Lee Myung-bak is scheduled to participate in a roundtable discussion with a panel of experts that will be broadcast live nationwide later this week, said the SBS TV network Wednesday.
Lee will reveal his plans for the second year of his presidency while discussing
pending issues, including the economic crisis, on the 90-minute program to air
Friday from 10 p.m., the commercial TV network said.
It will be Lee's first appearance in a roundtable discussion arranged by the
commercial TV network since his inauguration in February last year.
SBS will bring the opinions of netizens, which it will gather on its Web site
from noon Friday, to the TV discussion.
An SBS official said the network arranged the roundtable with the president to
allow candid conversation between the president and panelists in a free
atmosphere.
