Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries to celebrate the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il. Tha Win, secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, said that Kim Jong Il was not only the great leader of the Korean people but also a prominent leader of the world revolution. His distinguished feat is that he enriched the Juche idea, founded by President Kim Il Sung, to provide the powerful ideo-theoretical weapon to the world progressive people struggling for independence, the secretary stressed. Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the New Socialist Party of Romania, said that Kim Jong Il had enjoyed boundless reverence of all peoples for his distinguished ideo-theoretical wisdom, extraordinary leadership and noble popular traits. S. P. Pathak, chairman of the Indian Society for the Study of Works of Kim Jong Il, and Vipin Gupta, chairman of the Juche Philosophy Study Committee of India, said that there was no such great person in history as Kim Jong Il who had performed titanic feats for the global cause of independence with his great idea and leadership. -0-
