Meeting of Nepalese Preparatory Committee for Day of Sun

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- There took place a meeting of the Nepalese national preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, on Mar. 24. Attending it were personages from the C.C., Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics, the Study and Research Forum of Songun Politics of the National Press Club of Nepal, the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal, the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics and other organizations. The meeting discussed the matters for significantly celebrating the Day of the Sun and intensifying the solidarity movement for support to the Korean army and people in their vigorous efforts to defend socialism from the imperialists' anti-DPRK moves, and adopted a declaration. The declaration said: It is great honor of the Nepalese people to splendidly celebrate the 105th birth anniversary of the great President Kim Il Sung. We will deeply study Kim Il Sung's revolutionary idea, organize such political and cultural events as seminar on his exploits and give wide publicity to his greatness in the run-up to his birth anniversary. -0-
