Interior minister receives Pakistani governor

Manama, May 3 (BNA): Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra. Capital Governor, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, General Coordinator of Governorates, Mubarak bin Ahmed Al Fadhel and Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain, Javid Malik attended the meeting. The meeting was part of interaction and exchange of views to reinforce cooperation and coordination. The minister welcomed the guest, hailing the strong ties between the two countries and the importance of such meetings in promoting bilateral relations. He highlighted appreciation of the sincere contributions of the Pakistani community to supporting security and comprehensive development in Bahrain. The Pakistani official expressed thanks and appreciation to the Interior Minister, hailing the brotherly ties between the two friendly countries. The meeting discussed areas of bilateral cooperation and coordination, as well as topics of common interest.
