JUSTICE MINISTER S.BYAMBATSOGT MEETS MINISTER OF PUBLIC SECURITY OF CHINA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During his working visit to the People's Republic of China, MP S.Byambatsogt, Minister of Justice and Home Affairs met with Guo Shengkun, Minister of Public Security of China on May 9 and signed the action program of cooperation between the Ministries. The program, which covers the period 2017-2022, creates an opportunity to develop legal environments required for initiating cooperation in law enforcement sector and establish transboundary anti-crime ties. Also, MP S.Byambatsogt expressed his gratitude towards the Ministry of National Defense of China for the non-refundable aid of CNY 2 million worth police equipment, which was provided last week and underlined the revision of “Memorandum on procedures of collaboration of accredited delegations”, which was established between the Ministries in 1997. MP S.Byambatsogt noted the possibilities of coordinating “Belt and Road” initiative with the trilateral Economic Corridor program of Mongolia, China and Russia and highlighted its effect in creating a cooperative mechanism of the law enforcement sector, as well as progressing the “Belt and Road” initiative. Lastly, MP S.Byambatsogt signified the upcoming “Sacred Border 2017”, a joint field training between the border protection agencies, which is scheduled in the third quarter of 2017. B.Tugsbilig
