Rodong Sinmun Hits at U.S.' Projected Intelligence Operation against DPRK

Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- The U.S. scales up its intelligence operation against the DPRK after setting up an integrated body and machineries specializing in collecting information on the DPRK in its administration and CIA recently. Against the backdrop, the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces in south Korea are going to resume the operation of the "anti-north intelligence unit" called 524 Intelligence Battalion in October. Spies and saboteurs will be involved in the operation. Commenting on the facts, Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says: The projected resumption of the intelligence unit's operation is just a sly trick of the U.S. to use spies for filling the gap in the operation of its spy satellites and reconnaissance planes. The scheme fully revealed that "maximum pressure and engagement" put up by the Trump administration as its DPRK policy is just a policy of state-sponsored terrorism aimed at "eliminating the supreme leadership" of the DPRK and "bringing down its social system." The U.S. should understand that its desperate intelligence operation against the DPRK will only bring destruction to it.
