Mushroom Cultivation Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- Mushroom cultivation gains momentum by factories, industrial establishments, cooperative farms and even families in the DPRK. And a number of mushroom factories have been built in different parts of the country to be conducive to improving the people's diet. The most popular among varieties of mushrooms under cultivation are pleurotus, Agaricus bisporus, Lentinus edodes, Auricularia auricular, Flammulina velutipes and Volvariella volvacea. -0-
