Hyundai Engineering wins 455 bln won order for office building
SEOUL, Feb. 9 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., South Korea's third-largest builder, said Monday that it has won an order valued at 455 billion won (US$330 million) to build an office building in Singapore.
The deal with MGP Berth Pte. Ltd. calls on Hyundai Engineering to build a
43-story building over the next 30 months, it said in a regulatory filing.
Shares of Hyundai Engineering were trading at 59,500 won on the Seoul bourse as
of 1:50 p.m., up 3.66 percent.
The builder's profits rose 37 percent last year to 380 billion won on increased
sales, reaching a record 7.27 trillion won.
