CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The regular meeting of Cabinet was held on May 24, Wednesday. The following decisions were made during the meeting. - A project of an inter-governmental agreement between Mongolia and the Republic of Cuba on mutually accepting graduate programs, diplomas and degrees was approved. The agreement will enable the two countries to mutually accept the general education, academic and graduate degrees. - The Cabinet decided on marking the Saturday of the last week of April as “National Day of Soil Conservation”. On this day, public entities and individuals engaged in mining, agriculture and animal husbandry, as well as land owners and land users must include soil conservation, restoration and soil pollution reducing activities in their annual work plans every year to organize this day more efficiently. - The Cabinet decided on submitting the draft law, which ratifies the UN Food and Agriculture Organization's “International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture” to the Parliament. - In order to implement the “Joint declaration on developing comprehensive partnership", which was made between Mongolia and China, a working group responsible for organizing the biennial “Mongolia-China Expo” was approved.
