Afghani note for VP
Abu Dhabi, February 10, 2009 (WAM) - Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has received a message from President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai dealing with ways of enhancing bilateral relations.
The note was handed over to H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, by the Consul-General of Afghanistan in Dubai, Rashid Al Din Mohammadi, during an audience yesterday.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Maktoum also received Beha Ould Brahim AKhlil, new Mauritanian Ambassador, who called on him on the occasion of assuming his duty.
Sheikh Maktoum welcomed the new envoy and wished him success in his mission.
