HRH CP highlights inevitable victory of moderation over extremism

Manama, June 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening visited the Majlis of Adviser of Media Affairs to His Majesty the King, Nabeel bin Yaqoob Al Hamar, the Majlis of the Kanoo family, and the Majlis of the Al Jishi and Al Khuza'ai families. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa accompanied HRH during the visits. HRH the Crown Prince emphasised the strong bonds that exist across Bahrain society and their role in advancing the Kingdom’s development programme, which is led by HM King Hamad. HRH also stressed that these bonds underpin the nation’s commitment to the principles of modernism and pluralism, which have protected Bahraini society from acts of extremism that only serve to deter development. HRH added that in recognising the grave effects of extremism, modern societies have consistently rejected in the strongest terms all acts of extremism and unholy attempts to politicise religions. HRH noted that he is confident that the conflict between moderation and extremism will see the defeat of extremism. The Crown Prince then highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to facilitating investment opportunities that deliver high-value opportunities for citizens and significant economic returns. HRH also noted that Bahrain is currently targeting growth in key economic sectors, including tourism, financial services, IT, logistics and manufacturing sectors, stressing the significant role these sectors play in meeting the country’s strategic development goals and delivering world-class infrastructure and services. HRH the Crown Prince spoke of the principles of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, competitiveness, sustainability and fairness, and emphasised that these principles support private sector entrepreneurship which is key to economic growth. The Crown Prince highlighted that Bahrain remains deeply proud of its long-standing and distinguished role in supporting Bahrain’s youth and entrepreneurs. HRH went on to stress that it is incumbent on all to build on past achievements through the introduction of modern policies. The majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness’ visit, and highlighted the instrumental role the Crown Prince continues to play in advancing sustainable development and entrepreneurship across the Kingdom
