1000 FAMILIES’ APARTMENTS TO BE BUILT WITH CHINESE AID

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 1000 families’ apartments will be built in Ulaanbaatar with non-refundable aid from the Chinese Government, in pursuant to the agreement by PM of Mongolia J.Erdenebat and Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang during the PM’s visit to China in May.
Recently, working group delegates headed by Deputy Minister of Construction and Urban Development Sh.Lhamsuren worked in Bugat city (Baotou of Inner Mongolia, Autonomous region of People’s Republic of China).
Bugat city, prefecture-level city is in charge of the apartment project. Deputy Chairman of the city said “- A team of engineers and technicians appointed by the Trade Ministry had worked in Ulaanbaatar. Currently work plan is under development. Preliminary plans on total investment and work schedules are ready. We will send to Ulaanbaatar our best engineers, who implemented reconstruction of Bugat city.
Deputy Minister Sh.Lhamsuren noted that PM J.Erdenebat instructed to start the project within this year and therefore, issues related to necessary papers, including blueprint and relevant permissions were settled over the last one month.
During the working visit, the delegates were introduced with reconstruction works of Bugat city. Bugat city with a population of 2.3 million started city reconstruction in 2013 and plans to complete the work to provide all citizens with apartment by 2019.
