PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES TO DEBATE THIS SATURDAY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A presidential debate has finally been scheduled to challenge the candidates M.Enkhbold (MPP), Kh.Battulga (DP) and S.Ganbaatar (MPRP) in a face-off. The only debate of the 2017 Presidential election has been fixed to take place at 9 PM on June 24, and to air live on Mongolian National Broadcaster. The first half of the live debate will allow candidates take questions concerning their action plans, and the second part will have candidates addressing personal questions and public confusion on controversial topics surrounding their profiles and campaign tactics. Prior to this, Mongolian Broadcasting Union arranged two presidential debates on June 10 and June 17 which were to be broadcasted live on 16 TV channels. However, the debates didn’t take place due to difference of stances by the three parties. However, the parties have since met through their representatives to reach consensus on holding the debate this Saturday. Kh.Aminaa
