BANGKOK, June 23 (TNA) -- Fraud victims filed a police complaint against Facebook users, who allegedly posted the photos of injured stray dogs and cats to trick netizens for donations.

Surawadee Srisuksawat, one of the victims said she was an admin of the Facebook page “Rak Ma” or “Love Dogs”. Her page decided to transfer 10,000 baht to the donation bank account but later found the same message and the same bank accounts were also posted on other 5-6 similar pages.
The page admins and other victims, who transferred the money or whose names and pictures were misused by this group of people filed the complaints to the police.
The victim claimed that the fraudsters opened new bank accounts. When the victims sent messages to complain or warn them, they will immediately block the users, who sent those messages.
