GPIC congratulated on UK honour

Manama, June 29 (BNA): The Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has congratulated the Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company (GPIC) on winning the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) gold medal conferred under the patronage of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Shaikh Hisham congratulated GPIC's President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, members of the board of directors and all employees of the company on this distinctive achievement of maintaining a safe, incident-free work environment and highest safety and security levels as per the company’s sound strategic plans in accordance with international standards. The company has always supported environmental conservation programmes implemented by the governorate in the interest of the community’s sustainable development goals (SDGs) and boosted the concept of private-public partnership (PPP) that serves the nation and citizens.
