BDF commander-in-chief receives British naval commander

Manama, June 29 (BNA): The BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received British Naval Component Commander Commodore W. J. Warrender who introduced to him his successor Commodore Steve Dainton. The BDF commander-in-chief thanked the outgoing commander of the British naval component for his efforts during his work stint, wishing the new commander success in his duties, and praised the historic Bahrain-UK cooperation ties in all fields, especially the cooperation in the military field. Also attending during the meeting were Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad the Director of BDF General Headquarters; Naval Major-General Yousef Ahmed Mal-Allah the Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and Supplies; Naval Major-General Mohammed Hashim Al Sada the Director of Military Cooperation; and, Major-General Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa the Commander of the Royal Bahrain Navy Forces.
