Ubon Ratchathani deputy governor Chatpong Emasuwan and TAT deputy governor Noppadon Pakprot said the festival was set on roads around the Thung Si Muang field and at the Ubon Ratchathani National Museum on July 8-10.
For this festival, the TAT will promote interesting local lifestyles, candle carvings and religious beliefs.
Highlights will include Buddhism-related carved candle arts from leading educational institutions, an “Imagination Light” show relating to the Mahajanaka Jataka story, visits to communities of local Buddhist Lent candle producers and carvers, and candle production workshops.
